Mike Was my neighbor down the block on E. James St., not far from HHS. A great guy with a very loving family. His dad was a naval aviator, mom stayed at home and he had a brother and two sisters. Mike as the oldest was very protective of the younger ones. Had a great sense of humor, fair play, honesty, family. A barracks was named after him at North Island NS, San Diego as he earned the Silver Star. He was a Navy Corpsman assigned to the Marines when he was killed doing his job. Fair Winds, Following Seas, Semper Fi Mike. God Bless.
