Michele changed her name to Tikhonoff (her mother's maiden name) sometime after she married (1968) Robert W. Daseler. Her mother died in 1971, which may have prompted the change. Michele died of a brain aneurism (I was told that her brother and mother also died of brain aneurisms, but that is hearsay information).
